Rip-off TV: act now!

Rip-off TV: act now!

For the last year, Thrive, a Church Action on Poverty project in Stockton-on-Tees, have been finding out what keeps people in poverty. Many people don’t have the money up-front to pay for a washing machine, TV or sofa. So having a coin meter on your TV, from the company Buy As You View, seems very simple. But the goods are more expensive and most people end up being talked into taking the expensive 'optional' service cover.

Please watch our comedy video and find out how YOU TOO COULD PAY MORE for household goods. Then email Buy As You View and ask them to change their ways. Visit now.
